First egg from somebody today!!!! Who do you think?

When I got home today, my first day back at work wouldn't you know, I found an egg in the coop where the young chicks stay. I had put a box in there, but this was just in the corner. Unfortunately it was broken. Do you think they broke it or maybe it was just too fragile? I have 3 EE and 1 RIR so I'm guessing this came from the red. She could be a production red. I might also add that I got rid of the 3 young roosters yesterday. Coincidence?????

Is the shell thick? Thick shells don't easily get broken by curious pullets. A defect is always possible. Just a coincidence about the cockerels.

I have an RIR and her eggs look exactly like that. Congrats on the first egg (even if it was cracked)

Your EEs, if they have a pea comb, will most likely lay a blue/green egg.
