First Egg! I do not know who it was?

WOW my pullets are only 17 weeks old Friday! I got a small pullet egg (light brown) I bet it was my Red Star. "Sweetie"

the other hens combs are all just turning red. I have Black jersey Giants/Leghorns/Barred Rock... and I think its from her.

WOW! what a surprise I was expecting another few weeks. I'll ahve to finish the nest box ASAP! Eggs are fun!

I have 4 breeds together and getting one pullet egg a day. Hmmm wonder who it is? I'm guessing a Cochin is the culprit. I'm just hoping that she figures out what the nest boxes are for. She has been plopping them in the floor of the coop so far. Good Luck

Congrats Isn't it great? Got my first egg Sat., 1 Sun., none Mon,
gigantic dark brown one Tues., and normal one today.

How exciting for you all. Mine are 18 wks old this week. A couple of my BR's are getting bigger, redder and longer wattles.

The aggressive roo (same age) has been doing his little wing dance and mounting up for a few weeks now.

I best get their nest boxes done.
