First egg Newbie question....

Ok, now that we FINALLY got our first egg yesterday, should we expect a second today, or will it take her awhile to get in the "groove?" Thanks!

I just got 4 chickens 2 1/2 weeks ago & after 1 week started to get eggs, Was that ever a great filling I am getting one about every other day.

It depends on the pullet. It could be any combination of schedules. She may lay every day for two or three days, then stop for a couple days OR she may lay every day for a week and then quit.
It takes them awhile to get their egglaying down pat.

No egg today, hope to get one tomorrow. I did have one of my red stars go in and out of the nest boxes today. At one point, she even sat down and started to "arrange" the bedding in the nest box. Do you think she's gearing up?
