3! [IMG] How likely is that?!?!?!?! 3 of my 5 laid their first eggs on the same day! One about mid-morning the other two laid mid-afternoon. They are golden comets at 18 wks.

One was pretty big about 2 1/2 inches ,the other two were more like what I was expecting, but 2 out of the three were double yokers!!!!

  4. Omygosh - I can't believe that in addition to being adorable, chickens will really, truly, no-foolin give you eggs, too! How (dare I say...) egg-citing!!!! [IMG]

Man! Congrats! I am soooooooo jealous! I was just remarking to my neighbor that if my girls (cochins and 16 weeks old) don't start producing something pretty darn soon I am going to squeeze them till an egg pops out! SHEESH!

    Still, Congrats to you!
