Today one of my girls laid a golfball sized egg, and it is their first. I believe it was one of my ISA Brown's, due to her behavior. Is this egg safe to eat since it is not large as ISA tend to be?

Yes it’s fine , she’s just going threw the normal process, soon they’ll be large and extra large.

Congrats on your first egg!!

They can take days or weeks or months to get up to a 'large' size...so be patient.
