First egg shape and 2 eggs on first day laying

My lavendar orpington laid her first egg today (fairly certain was her but didn't see her actually lay it) and it was a skinny long shape. Then I heard her again later on, and went down and she was squatting on the coop floor over another egg. Is it common for the first egg to be long? And to lay 2 eggs on first day? I have them on starter crumbles and just started putting out some oyster shell bits. Thank you!

New layers are more prone to glitches, and 2 eggs in one day is unusual, but possible.

My buff Orpington lays long skinny eggs. She always has, and she's 4 years old. My lavender Orpington's eggs are also long, but not as long as my buff's. I don't think it's true of all Orpingtons. It's a funny coincidence, though!
