First egg....small????

Got my first egg today!!!!! So excited, 19 weeks!!!! The egg is pretty small though, is that okay and will they get larger?

That's the way mine are right now. Although I did just bring in a jumbo sized one. I agree wholeheartedly with @sourland! They definitely get bigger.

It was an exciting moment though wasn't it?...getting your first egg!

I have 3 freeloaders. 2 others have been laying for a week, all are sisters. Patiently waiting on the freeloaders. GC

I just got my 1st egg today too and had the same question. I believe it's one of my BRs that just turned 20 weeks! So exciting!!

Yes they will get larger. My first to lay were 42 and 43 grams. 10 and 11 days later they average 50 to 53 grams. GC

YAY!!! First eggs! I just got my first eggs 1 week ago! They will get much bigger. i am getting tiny eggs right now!
