First egg song yesterday...today nothing?

I have 11 pullets and none of them ever squatted for me and 8 of them are laying for me. If they are singing the egg song and squatting them they will be laying within a week if not sooner!!! Let us know when they do lay.

Another pullet (our mystery breed) has become much noisier the past couple of days and today she squatted for me and let me pet her! I was amazed because she is one mean chicken. Her "song" doesn't sound like an egg song, more like muttering and complaining loudly.

That's mean 'ol Daisy. We have no idea what breed she is
