So I was checking the nesting boxes (and was dissapointed that there was nothing in them) and looked on the coop floor... and there was a beautiful, perfect, brown with white speckled egg... just laying there. It had been there for awhile, as it was coldish. I gently picked it up and walked inside, screaming "FIRST EGGGGGGGG!!!!!" and my parents got a picture of it (coming soon).
I am planning to blow the egg out of the shell. One question (and a silly question)... can you eat the egg if you blow it out? I'm gonna scramble it and save the shell. ^-^
