First egg today!!!!!!

First egg from my first chickens!!!!!
99% sure it was a Dominique that layed it based on recent behaviors. We heard the classic egg song mid-day yesterday coming from a nest box. Checked later on but there was no egg, and again at dark, no egg. Went out this morning and found this!!!!

We got our first egg today also. I was just letting our girls out to free range about 7:30am and one didn't come out of the coop with the others. When I investigated I heard her make a "funny" sound get up and head out and voila I spotted our first egg. Way to go Blanca!

Congrats! Mine gave me her first egg friday, her second sunday and her third today! Two days in a row she laid! My little silkie is keeping up with the best of them! I was so suprised that she is starting to lay regularly right after her first egg!

That's great!!!
I got my second egg today!! Two days in a row, two different nest boxes. Not sure if it's the same girl or not, since I have 3 Dominiques that have been squatting for a couple weeks now. They all turned 23 weeks old today.
