I was not ready for the egg, nesting boxes are still blocked off was going to open them up the end of this month. No signs of them being ready no squating no grown of waddle they were hatched April 19thMy kids were also so very excited a little to excited my sone (who is 6) wanted to carry it around I said no. Next thing I see him walking around with it saying "I promise I will not drop it" I tell him go put it back in the counter. Next thing I know he's crying I dropped it. Uggg all I could think was yep that's why I said no. So he was consoled that we would have more eggs and to please Liston to me that I don't talk just to hear myself talk
Cooked up and feed it to the birds did not want it go to waste
Oh look and that nice dark yolk can't wait for more and to be able to eat them
