First egg yesterday, now what?!

Should I expect another egg today? I have 12 hens, maybe the others will start now?
How about you other newbie layers, how many did you get the day after your first egg? The first week after?

Irregular laying is common with new layers. So you may or may not get another egg today. In the next couple weeks, you will gradually have more of them laying. (assuming they are all the same age)

We have a 21 week pullet laying a pullet egg every day for five days now. They are getting bigger everyday. The other pullet that has not started laying yet has been going in the nest to sit. We expect her to start laying any day now. Good luck and have fun waiting, we do.

I'm a newbie too.
I've got 6 hens, and got our first egg at 21 weeks of age.
second egg came 2 days later from the same hen.
third egg came the next day , (Same hen).
fourth egg came the next day, (Same hen, still nothing from the other 5 hens).

By the end of that week,(week 22), we were getting 2 to 3 eggs a day.
By the end of week 23, it was 3 to 4 eggs a day.
By the end of week 24, it was 4 with a couple of days 5 eggs a day.

We are now at week 28, and it is pretty regular at 5 per day, with two or three days per week, at 6 eggs.

They started out at 1.3 to 1.4 Oz. each,
They are now pretty regular at 1.7 to 1.8 Oz. each
