She can... It's up to her!!!! Congrats!!!!!!! I have a girl that lays when she wants to.. No rhyme or reason.

Interesting. Thank you! And how do I get her to lay eggs in the nesting box not back in a corner where this one was

I use golf balls in my nest box. You can try that.

Ok awesome! Also where should I put the nest because I tried to put it in the corner where she laid the egg but it didn't fit. I honestly don't know how she fit back there either cause she's a big chicken and the corners not.

I'm not sure because I built my coop and just made the nest boxes to connect to the side of it.... They are lower than the roosts and give privacy.
