I'm so excited! Just found my first egg!! 26 week old Cuckoo Marans, or could it be the Black Australorp? I don't know

But it doesn't really matter. I just got a perfectly shaped, light brown, strong shelled on the small side egg! With time & longer days coming, I'll see more & bigger eggs.

The best Christmas present I could get. I'm on a cloud I got my first egg

Congratulations - it's always a great feeling to have a chicken lay her first egg - even more so if you have bred them. Omelettes for xmas breakfast eh?
