I have a new egg layer! But it's a light beige to white egg. It's supposed to be from a black star, but I thought they laid brown eggs?
    What color do Silkiechins lay?

silkies lay light brown to white depending on the color. A silkie egg would be smaller.

A silkie would lay a smaller egg than a large breed chicken.

    Thanks!

I guess I will wait and watch the next few days to see who the culprit is!
Either way, an extra egg a day is always a bonus regardless of the color!
