Its so eggciting!!!! Congrats. My babies who grew up in the summer months, started from 18-20 weeks and my easter egger (Amerucana) took till 25 ish weeks for her first egg. I heard that pretty typical. But seasons, lighting and colder weather can change laying if I'm not mistaken....One of my RIR laid today! It’s my first ever egg from a chicken which I raised from a chick. Almost a whole year and they finally laid. Does anyone know when the others might lay?? They are abou 1–3 days apart in a age.
