I would take the egg out. She may end up pecking at it (or another chicken might if you have others), which could start them on egg eating. Mine eat the soft shell eggs if they lay them overnight, but so far haven't eaten the hard ones.Okay thank you so much! We did have a roo but no longer do. I gave the little egg back to her but I dont think she cares about it.
Might want to throw it out if it has been hot or humid. A good check to see if the egg is safe to eat is putting it in a sink full of water, and if it sinks it is good to eat and if it floats, get that thing out before it cracks!!!Okay It's been 2 days should I keep it or throw it out?
