First egg

I got my first egg today from my one of my four Rhode Island Reds. They are a few days shy of 5 months old. I’m so proud of them. Didn’t really expect this, given the scorching summer we have had in N. Fl. this year. I’ve been giving them treats if ice, sour cream or yogurt, meal worms and apples.
