First Egg!

Finally. Sheesh. Even though the BRs are only about 17-18 weeks.

Now.... How to get her and the rest when ready to use the nesting boxes? . The ceramic decoy eggs have been shuffled about, and there are chicken butt sized impressions in the boxes, but the first egg outside on the ground. Any tips?

I would wait and see what happens next time. Since it's her first egg maybe she didnt realize what was going on.

Leaving it in. Someone was clearly in there, but they aren't taking any material out. They have taken the ceramic eggs out though.

They look good size. I would wait and see what happens with the next egg. Then go from there.
