Our red pyle bantam oegh was the first to lay :) a beautiful little cream egg. 20weeks old. Now to wait for our EEs to start 😁
I put out a dish of oyster shell but it seems such big chunks for our bantam lady. Should I crush it up a little more?

So pretty! I am so jealous. I have been anxiously checking my 18 week hen’s nesting box every morning. I cannot wait to find the first egg!

Also... not sure on the oyster shells -
But I would like to know as well!

Haha it seems she laid right on time at 20 weeks! Congrats! That is a cute little egg!!! I would crush the shells up a little more. The way I see it is it wouldn’t hurt for the shell pieces to be smaller.
