First Egg!

Our red pyle bantam oegh was the first to lay a beautiful little cream egg. 20weeks old. Now to wait for our EEs to start
I put out a dish of oyster shell but it seems such big chunks for our bantam lady. Should I crush it up a little more?

Haha it seems she laid right on time at 20 weeks! Congrats! That is a cute little egg!!! I would crush the shells up a little more. The way I see it is it wouldn’t hurt for the shell pieces to be smaller.

Keep some oyster she'll in a separate dish. They will take what they need. Congratulations!
