Hey how do you guys check your geese for mites? I was cuddling my gander when I caught a red mite biting my ankle. I haven’t seen any sign of mites but when I tried to check my boy for mites I couldn’t for the life of me find a place where I could see his skin. Same with my girl. Their down is just too thick.
My ducks and chickens were easier to check and I don’t see anything but I’m going to treat everybody anyway. I was just wondering how you guys do this in case there is a hack. Even their armpits are too fluffy
