What do I need to do now? Change the feed, give her oyster shells, ect?
Yes it is safe to change feed to layer feed, although personally I'd wait til more of your girls start laying. They don't actually *need* layer feed if oyster shells are available free choice.

How would an egg break inside a hen? I just read something about eggs breaking I hens and now I'm worried its gonna happen to one of my ladies because they like to jump from the coop, (elevated) to the ground when I open the doors.
