Got our first egg today! It was an awesome feeling! Can’t wait til they use the nest boxes. I went out to give the girls some Grub Terra soldier fly larva like I do when I get home every day and was hand feeding them, I was petting them and Rosie squatted and then there was an egg! I was totally not expecting it (even though I check the nest boxes every day). But it’s an awesome feeling! We’ve had the Girls for about a month now.

Oh how cool she did it right in front of you! First eggs are the best! Nice looking egg too.
