First egg!

My granddaughter came running in the house yesterday holding up an egg. She found it under a shade tree (our chickens are free range). So I have now filled all the nesting boxes with newly cut grass. Hopefully we will soon have more eggs to enjoy.

We just started getting Eggs about a week ago and were getting two Eggs a day,so you should be getting one a day, Intill the rest start laying.

awesome! on october 1st mine will be six months but still no eggs

lol!

and by the way--- chickens love o eat grass so i would fill my nest boxes with pinestraw
