First Egg

I second it, eat it. We buttered the pain, gently cooked the egg, split it into 4 and all of us shared it (just occurred a few days ago). I also took lots of pictures!

you dont have to clean them unless they are really dirty, but if you do clean it, you must refridgerate it since washing them removes the protective coating called the bloom.

I just got my 4th first egg today from the 4th hen that has decided to lay! LOL! We all share the first eggs, cook it up, and give everyone a bite!!! hehehe YUM YUM

No need to wash - they actually keep longer unwashed. The hen coats the egg in a bloom when it is laid, which helps keep bacteria from entering the egg. Wash the egg and you need to refrigerate it as that protection is gone.

Now go cook that egg up and eat it!
