Don't eat the egg! Just set it on your counter and stare at it. Then pick it up and takes pictures of it. Facebook it. Polish it, buff it, and set it in different colored towels; take more pictures.
Mine sat in the fridge for 3 days before it had enough companions to make a meal for the family.
