Do you know how long it takes for them to imprint??

I'm not sure. I think the first 48ish hours. Maybe the first week. My ducks are only 6 months old so that's the extent of my knowledge lol. Here is my female. I have no clue what breed my ducks are but I love them.

She's pretty. You are a couple of months ahead of me

Our first ducks will be 4 mos. next week.

Thanks! She started laying right around 5 months. I think it was right in the beginning of March.

Found our first egg today. Not sure who laid it but I'm THRILLED. They are 19 weeks old. Found it in the entrance to their night pen.

Thank you I was just telling them (before I found the egg) "somebody had better lay me an egg", lol. Found another one this morning in the night pen. Tonight I will tell them, "somebody better lay me an egg in the nest box."

We have a terrible ratio... 6 girls, 5 boys. I'm trying to rehome 2 Pekin drakes.
