First egg!!!!!

I got my first egg a couple days ago

!!!! I got an egg a day for 3 days but now they haven't had an egg for 4 days

. I am new to quails and am wondering if this is normal for this to happen at the beginning?

I have no experience with quails, but this is normal for chickens.

But, I read a great true story about a quail raised in a human home - a friend loaned it to me, I think the title was "Robert Quail". And the similarity in Robert and my chickens was amazing. If you love quails, you should read it.

For a first time layer this sometimes happens but they normally should lay pretty regular.. Good luck!

thanks for your advice. I think the problem might be because of the weather we are having. Its been cold and cloudy lately so the sun only shows up for like 5 hours a day.
