first egg!!!

friday my hen laid her first egg after getting out of the coop. now 4 days later and escape route closed no more eggs. thoughts!

So what you're saying is that she laid her first egg 'outside' the coop? If so, you may have to literally lock her in the coop during the day til she "gets it" that the coop is where she's to lay her eggs.

we have to wait till rooster prison is finished they all sleep in the coop and it's too cold for him outside right now, but he is getting what my husband calls the pimp palace, then they both are going on lockdown for a couple of days. thanks
