first eggs, EVER

I have to announce after 24 weeks of waiting, 2 of our 6 girls laid these beautiful eggs this morning! This is mine and my kids first experience with chickens and I have to say it's really exciting when they lay!! Knew you all would be excited for us and probably can remember this feeling!! Anyway, wanted to share!!

Nothing like the first egg/eggs!! I remember very well, as my first was only 3 weeks ago! And I still get excited to go collect the ONE egg per day! LOL
