First eggs from chickens from Feb.

I have gotten my first little eggs from my chickens. The speckled sussex seems to be the first to lay now they are all beginning to lay.

I have also added one honey bee hive and hope to expand to at least two early next spring. My little farm is growing and is starting to pay me back with food and hopefully lots of honey,mead,candle wax and soap.

Congratulations!

We got this year's bunch in Feb too and I go out to the nest boxes every day, hoping to see that first egg but nothing yet.

Maybe today will be the day!
