Well the quail I hatched 20 weeks ago have started laying eggs . But don't seem to want to lay on them . At least I don't see them . so I have put three out of the four in the incubator . I think im only getting one egg a day out of one of the four hens. Will she wait until she has laid enough and then sit on them at the same time

You didn't say what kind of quail you have. I'm assuming coturnix as they are the most common. Most domestic quail species do not go broody so will not sit on their eggs. You will have to incubate the eggs if you want chicks.

You are probably not getting more eggs right now because it is winter in the norther hemisphere and there is not enough daylight to trigger egg laying unless you are supplementing their lighting somehow so they are getting 12-14 hours of light a day.
