This momma just laid her first eggs for me. They will be my first young birds.

Are you new to pigeons?,, If so, I would like to make a safety suggestion. When Your little squabs hatch out, they will be walking out of that nest dish in short time. They will not be able to fly/glide, so if they fall off shelf,,, well
I suggest you fashion an enclosure so to prevent them from falling to loft floor/deck.
Ask anything else you are not sure of or have questions about.

About 10 inches below the shelf there is a hardware cloth floor that has straw on it.
