first eggs

Is it normal that one or more of my golden buffs that are supposed to be 10 weeks old have laid their first eggs? The birds seem large to me, but what do I know. I am new to this. We got them last week as started pullets. They were supposed to be 9 weeks old. We got them from a fairly large hatchery.

My cuckoo marans and my (either a easter egger, or a cochin, I'm not sure which of them is the egg layer) just started laying at 12 weeks. But it depends on the breed, I suppose.
