Still no external pip...I'm starting to get nervous! I still hear peeping and some tapping so I will give it a few more hours and then decide if I should make a small hole. Its been almost 24 hrs since I heard peeping. Sorry for your loss on the two but so happy for your 3 chicks!!!
This is my first hatch but from reading and what I'm experiencing is: If you actually get to hear one, which you may not, it all can take up to 2 days from internal pip to hatch. So far I did hear mine after the internal pip and then it was almost 24 hrs till I got my external pip. Now from reading it says they will rest and not start to unzip for 12 to 18 hrs. Unzipping usually doesn't take but 30 min. to hr. As for the day they start can range but should be close to actually hatching on day 21, maybe some on day 20 or day 22.
I hope so! It's kinda nerve wracking sometimes lolSo exciting!!! I think mine are resting...I have one at least with internal pip since I heard them peeping at me when I checked on them!! I'm hoping they will get busy today!! I've seen several moving. Can't wait to see the first external pip!!! Good luck to all

Honestly it just depends. Mine started on day 21 but its carried into today and there's still a few left. They just take their sweet time
