First go at owning chickens

Hi everyone!
My name is Belinda and my husband (Nick) and I just built our coop/run setup and picked up 3 bantam hens,1 bantam rooster, 4 larger hens(still looking up the types) and 1 large rooster. I will post a picture tomorrow of our setup and will have a bunch of questions. Our whole family (2 boys ages 5&7) is very excited to have chickens and we want to do this right and have a happy healthy flock of 7 laying hens and 2 roosters. We look forward to hearing from everyone!

Hello! Thank you for the welcome. Yes, they all came from the same flock. We ended up with two roosters one for the large hens and one for the bantam hens.
