I know that the first eggs usually aren’t fertile. I was thinking about trying the new eggs just to see. I will be hatching lots of guineas once they have been laying for a while.First egg, how exciting!
Are you planning on incubating these new eggs, or do you have other eggs?
Thanks for the advice. I’ll definitely be on the lookout. I have noticed that one of the females is never with the others so maybe she has a secret nest. I stuck a couple of eggs in the incubator today as well so we’ll see how that goes.
Wow! 50 eggs?!?!
Thanks much! Good luck to you as well! Wow... that’s a lot of eggs! I’ve boiled some duck eggs for my dog but I might have to try guinea eggs (if I ever find them)Good luck with the incubating! I have a batch in mine at the moment too.
The two side by side nests I found before the 50 was a combined 92 eggs. I hard boiled them all and have been feeding them to the animals. My dogs love eggs. The moment they hear an egg crack they come running. Lol
