First guinea egg! Plus a question about hatching...

Thanks for the advice. I’ll definitely be on the lookout. I have noticed that one of the females is never with the others so maybe she has a secret nest. I stuck a couple of eggs in the incubator today as well so we’ll see how that goes.:)
Wow! 50 eggs?!?!

Good luck with the incubating! I have a batch in mine at the moment too. 🙂

The two side by side nests I found before the 50 was a combined 92 eggs. I hard boiled them all and have been feeding them to the animals. My dogs love eggs. The moment they hear an egg crack they come running. Lol

Thanks much! Good luck to you as well! Wow... that’s a lot of eggs! I’ve boiled some duck eggs for my dog but I might have to try guinea eggs (if I ever find them)

Well I found an egg this morning! Sadly it was in their water dish so I decided I’d crack it open. This egg had no spots and was a lot larger. I’m thinking it may have been layed by a different guinea hen. I cracked it open and am wondering if it’s fertile. I think I see a bullseye but I’m not sure. Thanks in advance. :) Here’s the egg!

Omg! I was walking through the field to get to my broody duck’s nest and stumbled upon this! Tiny the guinea is broody and has a nest with 9 eggs! Right in the middle of the weeds! I have noticed that she’s never with the others and no longer comes in at night. My male Bandit was standing guard and was unhappy I discovered their secret spot! I was surprised, as I’ve been so busy monitoring my broody call duck and I didn’t realize that I also had a broody guinea as well!
