I'll definitely keep u updated. The eggs that made it to lock down are 10 lavender orps (shipped) 2 BBS ORPS (shipped) 2 welsummer (shipped) and 2 mutt eggs from my favorite hen.
I splurged big time on this incubator and so far I really like it I also bought the bigger brooder and I REALLY hope that's works as well as I hope.

In my incubator I have 12 silkies and 12 showgirls!-my favorite breeds. What's in your incubator?

I heard silkies take longer a lot of time to hatch. I have golden/buff/blue laced brahmas and SFH!

Try making hen sounds to see if you get a response. The eggs will chirp back it may take a day longer You count the day after you put them in a one. I had hatch on both sides of day 21

I have mine on a medicated starter but will change over to the FF then

This is my first time incubating silkies, but I never heard of them hatching late....that means I have to be more patient...:-(

I use organic stretch and peck feed and I do not use medicated or vaccinate but that is me. I am all natural! I think it strengths their immune system to fight things on their own.

I'll be using this instead of the heat bulbs
