First Hatch, Due Febuary 25. Who's with me?

The temp dropped over the weekend.

I got it back up though.

My temp FINALLY got up to 99.5! I'm so relieved. I was really worried that it was going to stall out at 98. Now I just have the get the dang humidity to stabilize. Y'all, this is HARD! XD

So far so great! Out of the 16 eggs 2 weren't fertle, and one quit around day 5 or 6. Monday is lockdown. Do I turn the humidity up from 86*? Thanks Guys!

I lock my incubator down on Wed the 24th. I used a digital thermometer/hygrometer with my first hatch (this is only my 2nd) and it made it so easy. I do believe that you turn up the humidity when you lock it down though (at least I did on my 1st hatch). I got 26 chicks out of 27 eggs set, so I must have done something right.....lol.

I just locked down! I hope my temp and humidity stay steady, they've been trying to jump around. I took the eggs out of the egg trays, and I dropped one. :-( It was cracked way beyond help, and believe me, I've put candle wax and such on cracked eggs before to get them through to hatching. There was no way for this one. I put the little bird inside out of its misery. So sad, I felt so bad for him. But I still have 89 more eggs, and at least I got some early assurance that they are developing. Trying to look for a bright side to that accident, you know ...
