First hatch...Lockdown tonight...any tips cause I am worried

My last hatch I counted wrong and actually put my eggs in lockdown on the 21st day and not the 18th. I woke up the next morning to 32 chicks in the bator. I didn't even have my brooder box ready. Chicks will hatch when they are ready.

I've got eggs in the bator now. I also have an index card tacked to the wall over the bator telling what day I started, what day I candle, what day I lockdown.

After a couple of times you are only reminded of the bator running when you hear the fan.

Yes, my wife will be here with them Friday night. Day 20 is almost half over and no sign of movement or anything. I am getting nervous.

On top of that my friend was on the phone with me this morning and I told him that maybe I did the egg cartons wrong and messed something up. His clever self decided to tell me that I was supposed to put the big end down for the hatch.....he was convincing and I almost had a heart attack. He enjoyed his joke lol

Will update later this afternoon. Wow never knew time could go sooo slow lol. My 7 year old is jumping through his pants too lol.

Just to clear up confusion, my name is Mike, my wife Amanda is in this too....actually its her project but I have gotten sucked in and cant keep my hands out of it lol. I love this stuff and cant wait to do another batch....funny huh.
