I have a hard time painting my own nails so not trying and hold a chick and paint theirs!!!

I always figured they would peck the dickens out of the toe trying to get it off!!

I just had a hatch of a breed of chick that hatches out light yellow from 2 different breeders (what a messed up sentence that is). I took a magic marker pen and marked the heads of one hatch with a big old black spot. They are a couple of weeks old and the black is still on their heads. Of course that wont help with blues and blacks, but you could do that with the splashes.

Here's some pictures. I think there are 21. I put one with a pretty bad rough navel in a little container so the others wouldn't pick on him. Hope she makes it...very pretty light blue wyandotte. I went ahead and took them out since I needed to add some water anyway. There are 3 eggs left....2 of which have pips.
