First Hatch queation.

Hey everyone. I just hatched 7 babies and I still have 5 in the incubator that haven’t hatched. The first one hatched on Jan 24 it was put into the inc. 4 days before the rest were. The rest have hatched between Jan 26-28. I still have 5 more in the inc that haven’t piped. I’m noticing an oil looking spot on a few of them. Anyone have any idea what this could be?

That egg looks rotten to me. Do you smell any foul odor coming from the incubator? I would candle the remaining eggs, look for any movement. Definitely handle that one egg verrrrrry carefully!

The egg looks spoiled... Have you tried candling them? You can see if there is life in those ones

I agree with the others you could also do a float test

I have candled them they look full no more air pocket. I haven’t seen movement yet. I will check tonight thank you

We candled them no movement then floated. No movement. And the one was definitely rotten. Stunk as soon as we opened it. So that’s it for this batch except for the one barred rock that’s due in a few days that’s in a different incubator. Thank you all so much for the advice.
