I will!! I've been away from home for all day and I'm on
my way home, so I'll let you know what I see!!

Yes they are!! But unfortunately our power is out, and they have no warmth..and in my incubator I did have two more hatching, but out of those two only one has survived...so far...........:-(

Hi there and congrats on your hatchlings. I too have a same incubator and my chicks developed in the egg but never came out. I kept the eggs in for 24 days but nothing so I took them out and cracked the eggs open to inspect. They still have the egg yolk outside the body but were all dead.

My incubator was very good at keeping steady temperature. I tried to keep lower humidity for the first 18 days at 49% and for the last 3 days at 70%. What went wrong?

I wonder what was your humidity and temperature?

All tips welcome

My humidity for the first 18 days was at 55 percent. The last three days my humidity was at 65 percent. It looks like the chicks were developing good but stopped before the yolk went in their body. Did the incubator ever turn off for a short period of time?

Hopefully someone is still following this thread. I just put my eggs in today. I'm wondering if you guys used the front display or bought other hygrometers to place inside for your humidity/temp?

This is my first time hatching in my Janoel 48 and I have 13 eggs in lockdown..today is day 19. I had to calibrate my Janoel's temp..it was running 1.5 degrees higher from all my other thermometer probes. The humidity is roughly 10% lower than my hydrometer too. I tried the dry hatch method and for 18 days my humidity was 30-35% and now I have it up to 65-70%. Wish me luck. I am so nervous. The only things that keeps me from hovering over the bator is the fact I work 12hr today and tomorrow.

How did it turn out? Thinking of buying this unit! Hope your babies hatched well!
