FIRST HATCH!!!

So i have successfully hatched an egg today and its really exciting. It is the first egg i have ever hatched!- I no i am supposed to leave the duckling in the incubator till it has completely dried, but my question is: should i put food/water inside the incubator for it? And is it ok to leave the duck inside the incubator till morning? or should i stay awake until it is dry and can be moved into its box under the heat lamp?

Congrats...I don't have the answers for you, but baby chicks can go a couple of days without eating, so I would assume ducks are the same...(someone with knowledge, please correct me if I'm wrong!!!)

Doesn't need food or water right now go on to bed move it in the morning.

Thanks for your help, I just moved him into the box now
