I've had my first successful hatching! Out of 12 eggs I got 9 live ducklings sadly I had to have 1 put down because of an unabsorbed yolk sack and a deformity. But 8 live and healthy ducklings! I am going to keep 2 and have homes for the other 6. They are so cute and I'm so glad the majority are healthy.
I've tried to sex them via the vent but I haven't been able to figure it out lol so I'll just take a guess
what age are they able to be separated and therefore not need a brooder lamp?
Aren't they so cute!
