Chirping
Much to our surprise, the little one is holding its head up now, and though not quite walking around, is getting around on its heels, and waking us up middle of the night with loud cheeping. Saw first attempts to eat and drink (pecking at food and water) and backing away from the Q tip (which is how anything has been administered the past couple days).
That said, I suspect this one will need a good deal of nursing going forward, so we may be leaving it with someone who has more experience with special/high needs chicks.
