I haven't decided. It depends on how my chick order does AND how many pullets my daughter and grand daughter decide they want.

I candled! Making dinner now, but I was able to see into about half the eggs and saw life! About the 70 hour mark! Will update later!

So I could only see the beginning of life in the lightest eggs, so I apologize for the lack of data. Here are the eggs I *think* I saw the beginning of veining in! Tomorrow evening my son is going to look with me, and hopefully it will be easier to see!

The rest of you will have to wait another day…some of the shells were a little porous and others were too dark to see in. Here are a few pics, you can barely make out the beginnings of growth if you look carefully!

so exciting!!!!!!!!!! OMG I will be doing this (candling) on Mon!!!!!!!!! It can't come fast enough (maybe Sun depending on time I set them on Fri. haahaa).

Holy moly! We just candles all 31 eggs (keep in mind the NR360 only is supposed to hold 22 with the tuener). TWENTY SEVEN have veining, and 4 I am unsure of…if I had to guess, only one was clear but for now I am leaving them in anyway, although I am tempted to toss them just for space reasons.

Omg…I guess the boys have taken their duty seriously!

I wonder if I have 30 chicks in there if they will have enough room to hatch? I am in complete shock…WOW.

I was going to wait until tomorrow to candle, but it’s freezing outside and I’ve been down and out (pulled a muscle and everything hurts), so I’m going to do a quick candle tonight and maybe take some pics.

Does anyone want to name their egg early, or are you all waiting to see what’s inside? I am so curious for the color combinations since we have no idea whose egg is whose (except for my Sapphire Gem…she lays huge cream eggs), and 4 roosters!
