First Incubation and WOW!!

I picked up an incubator and threw some eggs in it 10 days ago. We candled 2 today and holy cow there was the dark spot. Embryo's!! We are very excited.

its so addicting! i just hatched 2 of my eggs for my first try and im trying to make myself wait for better weather for the next batch! AAHHHHHHH! its so hard! Good Luck!

I feel like once I get started doing this, I will get too addicted to giving life to such cute little creatures. Ill be overwhelmed with chicks and wouldnt know what to do with all them. As much as I would like to make money doing this, it is a very sweet hobby!

We put in 26. When I candled last night 1 was cracked so I threw it out. Of the remaining 25, 23 showed positive embryo development. The other 2 had veins but I couldn't see the embryo. I left them in anyway. No movement yet.
