If this is the one that was on the egg it isn't a Muscovy and it's a female, but Muscovy drakes don't get the curled tail feather like Mallard derived breeds.

I don't think this is a Muscovy or a male.
Unless you have another male, your eggs aren't likely fertile. If you collect the eggs daily, you won't accidentally find anything developing inside, even if they are fertile.
Enjoy your eggs! I wish my girls would start laying again soon!

I wouldn't worry unless you find a secret nest. It takes 100 hours of incubator until the embryo has a heartbeat. So finding an almost fully formed embryo is highly unlikely.

Yes it's definitely a quack but nothing like my Saxony
